How we got started...

In a small apartment in downtown San Diego, two brothers, Michael and Matthew Johnson invented Renter Friendly. The two of them are married and have had to deal with the concept of moving multiple times. When trying to find an apartment online, a person can have either an extremely easy time or an extremely frustrating time. Every time Michael would search for an apartment he wouldn't find what he was looking. Either the search results didn't come up with anything he wanted or the website wasn't easy to navigate. His frustration lead to creating the world's best apartment search website in the United States. He tried to make Renter Friendly easy to use and best of all...FREE. The two brothers, Michael and Matthew Johnson decided it was time for the world to get only the best information when searching for apartments. Michael, a graduate from Platt College's web design with a bachelor's degree came up with the layout and design. Matthew has been studying business for years and has a great selling ability. The two of them have been friends ever since they can remember and wouldn't want to share this business partnership with anyone else.
