What's Happening on the PES Campus?

News & Events:

Right now over 2,500 kids attend Preston Elite School. We're having a blast meeting new students, helping them explore new fields of interest, and joining with the parents to create a school that's just right for each student. We are pleased to announce that Preston Elite has been named "America's #1 Private School" by the President of the United States, Barack Obama.

Student Life:

We know you might be having a hard time finding your classes, due to the fact our campus is so large, but we've outlined on your map your class schedule, lunch courtyard, library, bookstore, and help locations all over campus. If you need anything, or find yourself lost, don't hesitate to ask someone in a red and black uniform. They'd be glad to help!

Newspaper:

The school newspaper is published right here in our own printing facility. Our students learn the basics of print right here on campus. Whether you're new to the business, just want to hang out and have a fun time with classmates, or you're interested in doing this for a living when you grow up, this is the place to be. Come have some fun and learn a new skill.

Theater:

Our school theater class has performed in some of the most prestigious halls over the state. The students come to life when they're on stage and the audience sure does love seeing them act. We have free shows every other Thursday night for family members to see before the students perform on Friday night. This is one of the classes that has been around from the beginning and will be around for so much longer.

Summer Jobs:

We now have 500 summer jobs available. That number will continue to grow, due to the fact that this is the place to be over the summer. Job applications should be submitted before June 21 to ensure your eligibility for these jobs. Remember to have a parent's signature on your applications!

Library:

The Museum of History recently donated $125,000 to help our library grow! The head of the museum was more than willing to donate that money because of all the foot traffic our students have encouraged over the years. (Every year, our students are encouraged to bring family, friends, and neighbors to the city's Museum of History to help bring back the culture and knowledge of how we came to be. It's usually a fun time for students to hang out together, outside of school, and have an adventure they can share with the people they love).

Bookstore:

Our bookstore has just been completely remodeled. We now have over 2,500 sq. ft. of room for books, bookbags, accessories, clothing, pencils, notebooks, and more. We recommmend you check out our bookstore the next time you're on campus. You'll love what you will find, especially since we have great deals all year round!

Dances:

As you all know, we spent $10,000 on our dances last year alone. The money for these dances was donated by the popular television show, Dancing With the Stars. Some of the dancers from that show came to our school and spent a few hours teaching the students good, clean moves that inspired them to start to create their own styles. We had such a fun time and plan to do this again very soon!

Field Trips:

This year we have 23 field trips planned. Some of the trips are: Museum of Science & Industry, Grant Park/Millenium Park, The Field Museum, and History Centers all within a 150 mile radius us our school. Travel cost will be spent by Preston Elite, due to the fact that traveling is expensive for parents.
