Athletics

Preston Elite is know for its strong athletic program. Our program features the following and is available for all three attending age groups; kindergarten, middle school, and high school. Because we have a separate team for each age group, our students will be able to grow as a team, increase in confidence, and will gain new and lasting friendships. Our athletic programs excels and your child will love coming to practices, competing against other teams in the district, and serving the community through fundraisers and public events. We have compiled a list of all our programs:

Equestrian

Our equestrian team has traveled all over the world, competing in races, tournaments, and fundraisers. With our 3 race tracks (of 35 acres total breathing room), our team members are able to practice riding as often as they'd like. Our student athletes have been ranked among the top riders in the world. For the past 10 years, our team has been trained by Caroline Davis, author of "The Young Equestrian."

Swimming

Michael Phelps, 8-time Olympian, attended Preston Elite. He returns each year to give support to younger acheivers and to also lend a hand with teaching the students proper swimming techniques, such as the freestyle, butterfly, and backstroke. His teachings have greatly influenced out students to continue striving for the best each practice and each competition. The students on the swimming team have voiced that they "love it when Michael comes." Here at Preston Elite, we know how important good role models are. We strive to bring top athletes into our school to help young students feel like their love for sports is important. Every student that comes through Preston Elite will continue to grow, not only as a student but as an important member of society.

Baseball

Back in 2003, Tim McGuire sponsored our Preston Elite Hawks baseball team and with his help, led them to the Junior World Series where they placed 2nd overall. Each team practices Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 4 to 5:30pm. Since this is an after school program, we provide a shuttle bus that will drive your students home after each practice. We know that picking up students came be extremely hard, especially when the student has other siblings that need rides too. The shuttle is offered to Preston Elite students only. We feel that every child should receive as much from a school as possible. We've raised over $1,000,000 in student fundraisers over the past 5 years and feel that the money earned from those events should be put back into the students' interests.

Tennis

Tennis at Preston Elite has been around from the foundation of the school. We offer free private lessons, after school practices with a shuttle that takes students home, uniforms that are customized to your child's body type, one pair of tennis shoes and gloves, one professional racquet, and many other incentives. Our tennis team has played in tours in Europe, Spain, Australia, and all over the United States. We've overcome a lot of difficulties over the years but we feel that this year's tennis team will go to the Nationals and acheive the highest possible awards.

Golf

Tiger Woods spent 2 years at Preston Elite before joining the PGA Tour. His legacy lives on as students on the golf team compete with other schools. We hold tournaments at our school every 3rd Saturday of each month. There, students will be able to increase their talent while facing competition at the same time. We feel that students who never get the chance to compete will never grown to the full potential as a student and athlete. Our team is led by the student body president, Jacob Whitestone, who has been ranked among the top 10 golfers in America. His words of encouragement to the younger athletes brings a union of team members and allows for individual growth as well.

Track & Field

With our 25 acre field designed for running and racing, our athletes can run, run, and run. They love coming to meets, competitions, and tournaments that are designed especially for them. Each age group has their own practice field and their own professional coach. Your student will love practicing with some of the best athletes in the world as well as athletes that have similar talent. All students have commented that they "love practice almost as much as our classes." With such amazing children attending our school, our athletic programs become amazing as well.
